Believe In Your Dreams |
I know what you are thinking, "what does the title, 'Believe In Your Dreams', have anything to do with a fitness column". Well, believe it or not it has everything to do with it. Ok... I know what you are saying, “What? Can’t I be out of shape and still do God's will”? Absolutely, you can do and be what the Lord wants of you at any fitness level, but is your “Vessel” able to give all to Him where you are today? If you say yes praise God because you are a lot farther down the path then most. If you say in all honesty, “no I’m not at the level of fitness I need to be”, then let me be your encourager and cheerleader and tell you it is never to late to get started on that right path. I give you the story of having children because that was one of my dreams. I wasn’t supposed to have children or I should say not able to keep my pregnancy due to a hormonal imbalance which prevented my body from carrying the baby the full 40 weeks. God knew my heart and by His grace I now have three children that have helped me know that dreams can come true. They are my biggest supporters in whatever I pursue. So what kind of person will I be? Will I be a woman that can show my children that it is never too late to fulfill your dreams. Yes, I will be that woman. Keep reaching for the prize of fitness. I can never tell you how empowering being on top of your nutrition, exercise, and sleep can help motivate you to go harder and stronger in the life that He has chosen for you. It is never too late! Find in life the one thing that can motivate you to go the first step and the first step may begin by walking around the block or walking to the park with your children. I promise once you start you will be so glad that you did. |
